American Falls 1936 Flood

The flood came on 21 Feb 1936 and was gone on 24 Feb 1936.

My great grandmother Florence E. (Main) Schwarz was living in American Falls at the time. Not the entire town was flooded. She wrote "Keep these" on an envelope containing these photos. I am very much glad she did. She died in 1951, and is buried at Fall View Cemetery, near the Rast family.

Scott studios had 3 photos and Upham studios had 3. Both studios were in American Falls at the time. The rest of photos have no mention on the back.
